How Linux Users Can Analyze Their Online Poker Game?
If you are a Linux user and want to improve your poker playing skills, then you need to analyze your game and for this, you can use software like Poker Tracker. What you need to do is just install this software on your Linux computer and this software will start analyzing your game.
This article describes how to install Poker Tracker on wine.
1. First you must have a working Linux PostgreSQL installation.
2. Then, take a backup of your  directory.
3. Now create a fresh wine-installation using ies4linux script (choose to install IE6 only).
4. When the ies4linux script is finished then copy/move '~/.ies4linux/ie6' to '~/.wine'.
5. Set Windows version to Win98 in winecfg.
6. Install DCOM98, MDAC 2.8, Jet 4.0 SP8 (English Version)
7. Install Windows PostgreSQL ODBC driver.
8. Install Poker Tracker.
9. Now Add library overrides for PokerTracker. Then, run these 2 commands in your shell:


1)wget

2)regedit


Note: If you haven't used wine, then just run the abovementioned commands and change anything else manually.
If you have a non-US setting, ensure you change it to US before running PokerTracker. If you are working on an English system, then you can skip this step. Now changing the desktop starter to env LANG="en_-8" LANGUAGE="en_US:en"WINEPREFIX="/home/xxxxx/.wine" wine "C:\xxxxx\Poker Tracker V2\" and you are done. Now you can start Poker Tracker to analyze your poker game. But ensure that PostgreSQL running on your Linux system. Also, you need connect PokerTracker to it with the windows native ODBC driver.
Remember: After Poker Tracker installation, auto-requesting tournament summaries and POP3-mail fetching won't work. So, you need to manually request your summary, save the mail to a text file and then import it.
